Bracketed by a regional park and salmon bearing creek, the redevelopment of the seven acre site includes 370 residential units spread across four residential buildings at six-stories in height. The buildings are organized around a central circulation spine, arranged to frame multiple outdoor amenity spaces facing into a central gathering area. The heart of the community is an indoor-outdoor amenity and rain shelter building for gathering of adults and children, and as a hub for outdoor play along the edges of the forest. A gentle slope across the site gives opportunities for various landscape features to facilitate opportunities for interaction, conversation, and contemplation, and to conceal most of the parking underground with discreet entrances into the hillside. This proposed group of buildings is working it’s way through municipal rezoning and development permit approvals.
